During this 4-day safari adventure, you will delve into the natural wonders of Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Tarangire National Park will enchant you with its majestic elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. In the Serengeti, you’ll witness the extraordinary great wildebeest migration. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with its diverse inhabitants including hippos, rhinos, and buffalos, makes for a captivating final destination. Safari start Dar es salaam and end Dar es salaam.
At approximately 8:00 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel or the airport and brief you on your upcoming safari adventure. You’ll then depart Arusha for Tarangire. Upon arrival, you’ll dive right into an exciting game drive. This magnificent nature reserve boasts towering baobab trees, vast bush savannah, and seasonal marshes, all contributing to the natural splendor of the landscape.Tarangire National Park is famous for its elephant sightings. The park is also a habitat for buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, who are often accompanied by a variety of predators, including the majestic lions! While leopards may occasionally grace the scene, spotting a cheetah is a rare and special event. Your safari Jeep's open roof provides the perfect vantage point for optimal viewing.As the late afternoon unfolds, you will exit the park and proceed to the lodge for your overnight stay.
After breakfast, your journey will lead you toward Serengeti National Park. Along the way, we’ll pass through the scenic high-altitude farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA). As you say farewell to the highlands, you'll delve further into the wild heart of Africa. Upon arrival, you’ll have a picnic lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive within the park. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
After an early breakfast at the camp, your day will begin with a morning game drive in the park en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.You’ll enjoy a packed lunch along the way. If you are interested, we can make a stop at Olduvai Gorge, a site steeped in history and dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the renowned anthropologists, Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey, unearthed significant hominid fossils known as “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man,” which are crucial links in the chain of human evolution.
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a remarkable adventure in Ngorongoro. After descending 600 meters into the crater, you'll immerse yourself in a day of exploration and observation as you discover the diverse wildlife that thrives in this unique ecosystem. A delightful picnic lunch within the crater will enhance your experience.Later in the day, you’ll return to Arusha where you’ll arrive in time for your drop-off to the airport for depart to Dar es salaam.
